New Radiohead album!

I knew they were up to something!

This appeared on the Radiohead blog today:

Hello everyone. Well, the new album is finished, and it's coming out in 10 days; We've called it In Rainbows. Love from us all. Jonny
Radiohead has been without a recording contract since the last album, and there has been much speculation on what they would do with this new album. Well their sollution is quite radical.

There are two options. Either you chose to download it from the "In Rainbows" site. Hear this: You decide what to pay for it.

Or you order the "Discbox" which includes two cd:s and vinyls, a book with artwork and lyrics, and the download. Price 40 pounds.

So this is Radiohead's bid for the future of the musicindustry then.

October 10th should be an international holiday.

I should indeed! Good things have already started to happen, so who knows? An event like this does not pass unnoticed by the universe.

The question everyone is asking is, "Will Bruce Almighty do the same?"

There's some copyright problems to srot out, but If you want to put in a pre-order for 40 punds for our demo feel free. (It's all on our MySpace anyway)

So what do you think of it?

Its great, of course! Better that I expceted! I didn't think they would have another great album in them!

Can Radiohead do anything that's not great? It's still growing on me, but I'm sure sooner or later those eerie melodies will start playing in my head when I'm not paying attention.

I just came here via a friend of mine, and I was wondering: is the title of your blog inspired by Muse?

Yup. Though my interpretation of the phrase is different.

hey all.

i haven't downloaded the new radiohead but was disappointed to discover that the majority chose to download for nothing - or am i wrong here??

as a fellow musician, i feel that the album justifies at least a £3 donation - this would be more than they would receive as a signed artist. unfortunately most people opted to take the path of least financial resistance and download for zilch!

disappointing in my opinion.

the bends and O.K. computer are awesome in my opinion and anyone who downloads for zilch just because they can should ask themselves...am i REALLY a fan.

just my opinion.

adios and go well.

Do you still "exist"? I see Oct.2007. Are you doing a serious theology "thing"? forestphilosopher.blogtoolkit.com I'm still "working" on that one but I have a start on Google: forestphilosopher.blogspot.com
Interested in what's going on. Thanks

It won't really have effect, I think this way.
